What is TCVN 8491-2:2011/ ISO 1452-2:2009?

TCVN 8491-3:2011/ ISO 1452-3:2009 is a standard that specifies requirements for piping systems and components made of unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U). This pipe system is used for water supply, drainage and sewer systems that are located underground and above ground under pressureconditions.

This standard does not make any “regulations” for the potential “adverse” effects of products on domestic water quality.

Requirements and test methods for materials and components other than pipes are specified in ISO 1452-1, ISO 1452-1 and ISO 1491-4. The characteristics for system conformance (mainly for joints) are  specified  in EN ISO 8491-5.

This standard specifies the characteristics of pipes.

This International Standard in conjunction with ISO 1452-1 and ISO 1452-1 is applicable to injection-molded PVC-U pipes with or without a socket (as an integral or integral part), used for the following purposes:

a) The main water pipeline and water supply system is located underground;

b) Water transport system is placed on the ground both outside and inside the buildings.

c) Drainage and sewer systems are placed underground and above ground under pressure áp

This standard applies to plumbing systems for water supply under pressure at temperatures up to 25°C (cold water), for domestic and general purposes as well as for wastewater under conditions of high temperature. Pressure.
